Attended the Keystone Chapter Spring Natural Ability Test on Saturday May 2. It was held at York Pointer and Setter Club. It was a nice day for a test, only problem was there was a lot of tics. I entered my pup Cassie to run in the event. She did very well scoring 106 points(out of a possible 112) and receiving a prize 2. Natural ability is a test run by NAVHDA for dogs up to 16 months old to test the pups natural abilities in a hunting scenario. They are judged in 7 areas, they are: use of nose, search, water, pointing, tracking, desire to work, and cooperation. I am very proud of her and it is now time to start training for NAVHDA's utility test.
