I have been pricing T/C inlines at the local stores then I ran across this website. Has anyone had any dealings with Midsouthshooters Supply. You can not gripe about their prices but I would like to know how they are to deal with. Any Experiences??

Made several orders from them this past year plus many in prior years.. Good place for custom factory ammo, hard to find 22 ammo etc. plus ML supplies. You do need to fax a copy of your drivers license for first order of ammo & then your good to go. Not sure about a ML rifle. Their prices are very competitive & service is great!

I purchase 99% of my reloading supplies thru Midsouth. I've also bought a couple scopes from them. IMHO,,,,you can't beat 'em.... Their shipping speed is unreal!

Calculate the shipping and price against what the little local shops can give you. Our local shop owner is always eager to please and help folks out. If there is something he doesn't carry, he can usually get it for us at the same price we'd pay mail order, because he gets the wholesale price and combines orders for shipping. You get the same price, the local guy makes a few bucks and stays in business. It can be a win, win for everyone.

Thank you all for your replies! I would prefer to do business with a local shop (I like to see the product that I'm buying) however more times then not I must look at the cost of the product. As Zimmerstutzen stated ' I will have to weigh the cost plus shipping. By the way Loggy you are correct I am from the Harrisburg Area. I'll give Hakes a call.

Go out and buy yourself a $100 traditions 209...it will shoot just as good, last just as long and save yourself $$$$ 200-400 $$$$...THERE's no difference when the bullet hits the deer...they don't ask what that came from...I just can't see spending that much for these new in-lines.....

Loggy, Does Hakes carry Blackpowder? Unfortunately they do not onager. Layman's Gunshop in East Prospect is my closest for Goex. Both Goex & Swiss black powder are carried by Dixons.

Frank, respectfully you apparently have no experience with in-line ownership outside of the wallymart $100 package specials to the higher end TC, NULA, Savage 10 ML's, Knight, White or others out there. I must humbly DISAGREE based upon my ownership of both elcheapos on up to the top shelf models out there. Only statement I agree with is that: "when the bullet hits the deer...they don't ask what that came from..." Outside of that...we are in 100% disagreement. There is one hell of a difference in quality of barrels, steel, gun finish (Bluing), break-down to clean features, sights (plastic vs steel), stocks(hollow drums vs solid), recoil pads, breech plug features, inherent accuracy (on average) etc. etc.

YOUR RIGHT...I have limited experience other than what I see on the range...and from what I've noticed with the holes in the target, THERE'S VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE...if one costs $100 and the other $500-600, you would think it should shoot better and from what I've seen they don't shoot 5 or 6 times better....QUALITY OF BARRELS, there doesn't look there's all that much difference from what I've seen on paper...your right about one thing.. ease of cleaning a break-open compared to the bolt type, no comparison...all the others you listed don't matter that much to me when I carrying them around...thank goodness we can disagree, respectfully...
