THERE'S nothing, except women that stir ones brain more than varmint rifles!! MOST in the shooting circles for years now has been banging on "BIG GREEN'S" ear to produce some rifles that people would buy...now there slowly after firing eveyone incolved with them are starting to hear the message..SAVAGE has blown them completely away with some of their new products and have produced some awesome varmint rifles with all the bells and whistles that people want to buy.. NOW, they need to take one more step... most of us already own, a 22/250, .223, .243 and .308...THEY NEED TO OFFER SOME NEW CARTRIDGES.. I see SAVAGE is now offering the 6.5/284 and the 6 MM BR...now were talking..for those of you have never shot these two, nothing offered will even come close to these two in the accuracy department..sooner or late big green will offer them, hopefully the line won't be to long..

skwirl how do you like that stevens been thinking about buying one for me and my boy possibly in a 243 and 22-250 or 223? For an out of the box shooter you cant beat it .........the only negative is the trigger pull.excessive to say the least I tweaked mine and got it down to 5 lbs........rs tweaked his and got it down to 3.3 lbs.........but I just ordered the trigger from SSS that adjusts from 12 oz up to 2 lbs.......that just might tighten my groups

Tighten your groups! A darn flee isn't safe with you behind the triger. Nice shooting skwirl!

Have a Remington XR-100 in 204 on "layaway". Will get it in a couple of weeks if I live that long. Have a Burris Signature 8-32X on the way that the wife knows nothing about. Hopefully it will stay that way! Right now I shoot a Browning B-78 (same as the 1885) single shot and a Remington 700 VLS both in 22-250. Both are "bugholers" but NEEDED another gun. Is that a sign of addiction or normality?
