Read a recent letter to the editor in the Lanc. Newspaper. The writer took us to task on having a handgun in a vehicle while unoccupied. Several of you mentioned keeping a handgun in your glovebox. I am curious what your thoughts are?

Well said! They are probably supporting peta as well! I would like to order one of those atv/ccw crossovers for can shooting! Heck might even give it a try on bunnies! Bet it's great on vermin!

Here's a reason to carry while hunting<--- click here. Some of the posts her do not make sense to me. Criminals (Poachers) don't follow the laws, so this new law would mean nothing to them. You are not allowed to "finish the deer off" with your CCW unless it's rifle season and you are carrying a revolver. There are dangerous predators in the woods, two legged ones. Maybe it's too much temptation for YOU to carry while spotting and not try to shoot, I have no problem with it because I obey the laws. The PGC has no authority to "not enforce the new law", it's a state law, they have to abide by it.

I don't know if this was posted or not but you CANNOT use your handgun to put down a deer in archery season. Your handgun can ONLY be used for self-defense.
